“Femmes à la chicha” par Eugène Delacroix, 1834
(Source: instagram.com, via adslibitum)
Artist Keltie Ferris used her own body to paint this series, in which bodies become brightly colored, replicated figures.
In an interview, Ferris discusses these vivid, bodily works:
“Well, armies march. And so do protesters. Modular bodies moving in grids, in formation, showing their power or maybe their resistance to power — that’s a march.”
